Cypriot Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists

The Cypriot society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists was founded in 2003.
Up this time the number of the chiropodists/podiatrists has been very small and forming an association of 20 members was not feasible. At the moment we are 24 members all over the island.

We are working towards regulating the profession by “the law for registration chiropodists and podiatrists” at the moment and we are aiming to have this approved by the new parliament in the year 2006.

The Cypriot Society of Podiatrists has as a mission to advance Podiatry in Cyprus through public education, information to health practitioners, and upholding professional accountability of members through continual professional development and evidence based practice.

Η αποστολή του Σύνδεσμου Ποδιάτρων Κύπρου είναι: Η εδραίωση της Ποδιατρικής στη Κύπρο, μέσω επιμόρφωσης/εκπαίδευσης του κοινού, ενημέρωσης του ιατρικού κόσμου και διατήρηση της επαγγελματικής ακεραιότητας των μελών, με συνεχιζόμενη επαγγελματική εκπαίδευση και εφαρμογή επιστημονικά αποδεδειγμένων μεθόδων.
